I've talked enough about this in other topics that I decided to make it a single topic.
At oracle openworld there is an unconference.. The idea is, those who want to speak but weren't accepted for a formal presentation can give a presentation.. Here is a link to this years lineup

For me, a lot of those people lit up my list.. Here is a few names to wet your appetite.
Kevin Closson -- THE export on Exadata.
Richard Foote talking about indexes
With a lineup like that, I don't think I'm going to make the conference..
Keep in mind you have to sign up for Oracle Develop to get in (or java one).. It's well worth the extra $100.
Oracle Unconference
WOW.. I am so stoked ! I just sat in a room asking Kevin Closson questions..

Along with Christian Antognini

Greg Rahn

and a few other exadata experts.
This was the second unconference session with Kevin, and there were even fewer people there..
The session this morning with Richard Foote was less than 20 people, and he answered some of my questions on index compression.
Unconference ROCKS compared to the regular conference.
