Job Description:

The customer is part of HSBC Global Risk team driving compliance for HSBC and is looking for a consultant to assist them for 12 months + as an Oracle Architect on a brand new system. This project is part of "CAMP" (Customer Activity monitoring program) initiative to monitor Import/Export credit detection of suspicious activity in support of their Global Anti Money Laundering and regulatory compliance initiative. They are looking for someone with the following skills:

1.A Senior level Oracle Architect with a minimum of 5 years exp as an Oracle architect to lead a global enterprise level project. They will be building/designing a new system from the ground up so hands on experience in design and Oracle architecture (logical and physical data models),a background in Oracle PL/SQL development (at least 3 years), Oracle package programming, database performance tuning in an Oracle 10G or 11i SUN Unix environment is required. They will work with the testing COE's and Project teams to gather requirements, present options, design, create, test, debug, and implement complex application solutions.

2. Great leadership, project management, analytical, and communication skills. They will provide technical leadership and direction to support data analysts within HSBC. The team is made up of 15 developers (5 on shore and 10 offshore) so candidate should have global exposure to enterprise projects.

3. 1-2 years of creating and supporting ETL and business intelligence processes with BI Tools such as Cognos, Actuate, Business Objects, or Informatica. (tool currently to be determined). Will be designing warehouse schemas and DDL's.

4. 3 years of UNIX development. KORN shell scripting preferred but not required. Experience with file processing, and validation. Will be supporting production environments on UNIX systems to insure performance.
